Setting Our Course in 2024

I'm so excited that you will be joining us for Bible Journaling in 2024.

I know that the Lord will also be joining us to encourage, inspire and gently guide us as we navigate through His Word creatively and intentionally.

The theme for the first gathering of the year is traditionally sharing the vision God has for us in the coming year.  Follow these steps as you intentionally seek for a word or two that will help set the course for 2024.

ASK

In prayer, begin asking the Lord to reveal a word or two to your spirit that will help set you on the course that He desires for you and your family in 2024.  

SEEK

Intentionally, schedule a time, daily, to prayerfully seek scripture, His already established Word.  Find a scripture verse that pops out into your Spirit and understanding.  This will help you find the word God wants you to have as a guide as we enter into a new and exciting season.

MEDITATE

Prayerfully, meditate on the word or words you are drawn to.  Then, ask Him to reveal to you which word is the word, why that word, and a strategy to help you launch that word into the new year.

PLAN

Write out the strategy and prayerfully devise a simple plan to help remind you of the path He wants you to follow.  Think of it as He is the shepherd and he is using his rod and His staff to keep us on the path He has determined for us.  An example of a strategy you can use is to create an acronym for the main word you have chosen.

A - Ask 

Y - Yield

COMMIT

Prayerfully make a committment that you will acknowledge this word and the guidance and direction the Holy Spirit wants to use to set us on course in 2024.
